Speed crosswords
Everyone builds their own little crossword from a pile of letter tiles, as fast as possible. The Bananagrams idea, played with Scrabble tiles or paper squares.

What you need
- Letter tiles from a word game, or 100 paper squares with letters
How to play
- Put all tiles face down; each player takes 15 (fewer if there are many players).
- On "go", build your own connected crossword with your tiles.
- When you use all of yours, call "draw": everyone takes one more tile.
- When the pile is empty, the first player to use every tile in valid words wins.
Office tip: Check each other’s words at the end; a dictionary app settles arguments.
