• Free The games are free to play in your browser. Ads pay for them.
• No account There is nothing to sign up for. Using the site means you accept these terms; if you do not, please do not use it.
• Fair play Do not cheat the server, flood it or use a nickname to hurt anyone.
• Not sold We never sell your data. How we handle it is on the privacy page.

Office Break Games is a collection of short browser games for a break. You may play them for your own, non-commercial enjoyment, at work or at home. You need nothing but a browser: no account, no download, no payment.

We may add, change or retire games and features, and the site may be unavailable at times, without notice. What we collect and why is on the privacy page; the cookies are listed on the cookies page.

Your employer’s rules about breaks and web use still apply. The break clock in the header is there to help you keep to them.

• Do not attack, overload or probe the site or its server, get around its rate limits, or send it requests that a normal browser playing the games would not.
• Do not scrape the site or copy its games, text or artwork to publish elsewhere.
• Scores on colleague cards are not checked. Faking one fools only the people you linked with, so please don’t.

• A nickname is optional. If you set one, do not use it to impersonate someone, to harass, or for anything offensive or unlawful. Anyone with your link sees it.
• Colleague links are one to one: you choose whom to share your link with, and either of you can unfollow at any time.
• We may remove a card or a link that breaks these rules, and may block requests that harm the site.

• Your scores, streaks and stamps are kept in your browser, not on our server. If the browser’s data is cleared, they are gone and we cannot restore them. Use Export my data in your profile to keep a copy.
• The house benchmarks (Pro, Expert, Junior) are targets we set, not other players. There are no public leaderboards and no prizes.

• The site shows a small number of ads served by Google AdSense. We do not choose the individual ads and do not endorse what they advertise. If an ad behaves badly, tell us through the contact page.
• Links to other sites, in ads or in our text, lead to sites we do not run; their own terms and privacy policies apply there.

• The site’s code, games, artwork and text are ours. Many of the games are new versions of classic game types; their names may be trademarks of their owners, and Office Break Games is not affiliated with or endorsed by them.
• If you hold rights to something on the site and think we got it wrong, write to us: rights questions are answered before anything else.

• The site is offered as it is, for fun, free of charge. We do our best to keep it working and correct, but we do not promise that it is always available, error-free or that scores are never lost.
• To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for losses from using or being unable to use the site. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under consumer law that cannot be waived.

These terms are governed by the law of Latvia. If you use the site as a consumer, you keep the protection of the mandatory rules of the country where you live.
